Aloe vera is a superfood. In the Egyptian culture it is the essence of immortality. It is a magical nutrient. It contains Vitamin A, C and E, sulfur, calcium, magnesium, zinc, selenium, antioxidants, fibers and amino acids. It is an excellent detoxifier; therefore aloe beginners should eat it carefully with step by step dosage raising. This lemonade is an excellent start for those beginners. Aloe also strengthens the immune-system and it has anti-inflammatory effects. I always have aloe plants at home in the summer outside in my garden, and I often hide it in a smoothie.


Ingredients

For:  4 people

  • 1 lemon (peeled from its skin – by keeping the white parts on)
  • 1 lime (peeled from its skin – by keeping the white parts on)
  • the gel content of 1 biggeer or 2 smaller aloe leaves
  • 1 handful raspberries fresh, or frozen
  • 1 handful of ice cubes
  • 1,5 l mineral water or cleaned water



Instructions

  1. We combine the above ingredients in the blender for about 2 min and we have our super healthy refreshing summer drink ready!
